The live workshop has concluded, but this workshop is now available as a pre-recorded workshop, including all materials. In this two session workshop, Amy teaches the process she uses to make an interior painting from unremarkable, yet special views in her home.  Simplifying structure, exploring masses, and utilizing color restraint and selected expansion.  Participants will create their own painting, or use Amy's images, over two classes.  Paint mixing and compositional structure are important components of the class. Amy will demo in oil, but all mediums are welcome.

FAQs

Can I view the class on my phone? This is not the optimum way to see a painting workshop. The best way to see the class is with a desktop, laptop, or tablet.

Do I paint while you are painting? This is not very beneficial. Most participants want to engage with Amy's slide talk, discussion, and demo entirely.  The sessions are recorded and you have lifetime access to them so you can easily paint along with Amy later.

Is Amy's live class private? Yes! Only registered participants attend the classes and have access to the videos. The YouTube channel is private and only paying participants can see them.

What if I take this workshop after the live session concludes. Can I ask Amy questions?
