In this demonstration, Amy paints summer blooms from her garden in Maine: hydrangeas, cosmos, and zinnias. In the background she uses a rich purple, bringing out the vibrant color in each bloom. In addition, she demonstrates painting a colored (green) vase, one of her favorites. The beginning of the video reviews mixing paint using her double primary palette, a highly valuable skills for all painters.
