Creating and Painting a Floral Composition-Post Live Workshop Access

The LIVE workshop has concluded, but the workshop is available for purchase.  You will receive the recorded workshop, in its' entirety, plus all supporting materials.  4+ hours of instruction with lifetime access to everything.

This two session workshop details the backbone behind a strong composition.  Lighting, color harmony, background choices, and floral arrangements for paintings using seasonal blooms in Maine.

Class one: 2 hours. Step by step instruction with lighting, cloth and background selection, choosing seasonal blooms, and flower arrangement. Participants work with Amy as she discusses tools she uses when creating her set ups. Listen as Amy and participants work together to create an engaging and energetic composition.

Class two: 2 hours.  Amy uses images created during class one to work on an alla prima, or one session painting.  She takes participants through color mixing, blocking in major shapes, and engaging brushwork with the seasonal blooms.

Work from the completely recorded sessions (2 hours each).  Image is included for painting at your leisure.

All participants have lifetime access to the class.

Here are some images of the demo from this workshop. Note: I chose to rework this painting AFTER the workshop's conclusion, based on my feelings about the size of the objects as well as the general temperature of the background. Here are photos, in order:
